AI Leadership Collaborative

One of the strategic goals of the Office of Responsible AI is to establish an AI governance framework that supports the broader campus community to create clear, consistent and sustainable processes for how AI is adopted across different contexts. By anticipating changes in the fast-paced AI landscape, the Office of Responsible AI can help campus partners make timely, informed decisions while ensuring alignment with institutional values, ethical standards, legal requirements and responsible innovation practices.

This goal also emphasizes engaging the campus community as active partners in AI governance. Faculty, staff, students, researchers, administrators, technology teams, compliance leaders and other stakeholders all bring distinct perspectives on how AI affects their work and learning environments. By building strong relationships and shared decision-making structures, the Office of Responsible AI can foster trust, increase transparency and promote responsible AI practices across campus.
